Carried out on servo hydraulic machines under strain, load or stroke control conditions at up to 1000˚C.

Fracture toughness test
Assess a materials resistance to crack propagation is performed using compact tension specimens from sub- zero to elevated Temperatures.

Crack propagation test
Determines the rate of crack growth under the
specified loading condition once a crack has been initiated in a specimen.
